Sarah Foxley, Psy.D., Manager of Psychotherapy Services

Dr. Sarah Foxley is a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado (#3967). She graduated from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2010 with a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Foxley also spent time working in the prison system, as well as in residential rehabilitation services and with military members. She specializes in trauma/PTSD, substance use disorders and addiction, dual diagnosis, mood disorders, and chronic pain. She is able to help individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, as well as those with chronic medical conditions.

Her time spent working in residential treatment programs made her skilled at treating addiction. She is trained in EMDR. She also utilizes behavioral strategies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as part of her treatment approach.

Amy Lefevre, LPC

Amy Lefevre is a Licensed Professional Counselor; she obtained her Master in Arts in Counseling from Adams State University. She specializes in working with adults. Amy has a background of working with senior citizens and people nearing end of life. 

Amy is a huge believer in helping people feel confident again. She enjoys helping her patients identify their super hero within so they can start to live their life to the fullest. Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, along with mindfulness are tools she uses in the therapy process. Amy provides an environment in which she holds on to hope even when someone doubts their abilities, enabling them to see their strengths and resources.  

Amy is a Colorado Native, she enjoys the beauty that her state has to offer, spending time with her family and pets, and an avid sports fan.

Laura Lichti, LPC

Laura is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Colorado, Denver, dual-tracking with a Master’s degree in both Couples and Family Counseling as well as School Counseling. For the past decade Laura has worked to support clients of all ages, and have completed extensive training in play therapy, expressive therapy modalities (sand-tray and art), grief therapy and group work.

She enjoys working with our youngest clients and their caregivers, and is comfortable providing therapeutic support to parents with very young children (birth+). Laura also has experience working with individuals who are dually diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability/PDD and also a Mental Health Diagnoses. Her work is client-centered and often includes blends of cognitive behavioral work, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused practice.

Miranda Shaw, Psy.D.

Miranda received her training in psychology through the University of Denver (PsyD) and National University (MA, BA). Dr. Shaw brings 15 years of clinical experience and skills that include early childhood trauma intervention, Animal Assisted Therapy and trauma therapy. As well as effective treatment for older adults in varied outpatient settings and successful integration of care between behavioral health and primary care physicians.

She has worked with people across the lifespan, from ages 2- 102. Her favorite styles of therapy include Dialectical Behavior, Humanistic, and Existential Therapies. In her down time, she enjoys bead weaving, photography, and baking. She loves spending time in the Colorado wild with her husband and son.
